Loredia "Rita" Winburn West, 88, retired owner and operator of West Oil Company, widow of Robert C. West, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born March 24, 1927 in Estill County, daughter of the late Thomas and Julia Puckett Winburn. Rita attended Estill County schools and was a member of Rose Rebekah Lodge #7, Bourbon County Homemakers, and Church of God. She is survived by a son, Wayne (Cissie) West; two daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Wagoner, Carol (Tim) Lizer, all of Paris; eight grandchildren, Kellie (Willard) Scott, Steve (Kim) West, David (Pam) Wagoner, Brian (Brooks) West, Julie Centers, Kristen (Jason) Brown, Jonathan Hendrix, Jeff Hendrix; twelve great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren. A son, Robert A. West, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Don Reed with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Steve West, David Wagoner, Brian West, Jonathan Hendrix, Jeff Hendrix, Trey Scott, Willard Scott, and Jason Brown. Honorary bearers will be Juanita Sutherland, Edith Crump, John Galloway, Patsy Bates, Jane Barlow, and Ashley and Javier Navarro and family. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
