Louise Smoot Redmon, 93, widow of Paul Redmon, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Hospice Care Center. She was born May 16, 1921 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Walter and Shella Alexander Smoot, attended Clintonville School, and was a member of Clintonville Christian Church. Mrs. Redmon is survived by four sons, Paul Douglas Redmon, Bourbon County, Donald Terry (Linda Sue) Redmon, Clintonville, Bill (Alma) Redmon, Athens, Alabama, Bobby (Susan) Redmon, Lexington; a sister, Dorothy Kincaid, Paris; ten grandchildren, Vince Redmon, Paul C. Redmon, Stacye Hudnall, Jennifer Winburn, Paul D. Redmon II, Deanna Blackwell, Jason Redmon, Angelia Felts, Mary Jolly, Sarah Redmon; and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at Clintonville Christian Church by Rev. Charles H. Kemp with burial in Clintonville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Paul C. Redmon, Paul D. Redmon II, Vince Redmon, Jason Redmon, Thomas Berry, and Jack Winburn. Her granddaughters and great grandchildren will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested through Clintonville Christian Church for Hospice of the Bluegrass.
