Marie Clifford, 81, a retired bookkeeper, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born May 1, 1933 in Paris, daughter of the late Chesterfield and Agnes True Clifford. Marie was a graduate of Harrison County High School and was a member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Jean Hutchison; two nephews, Phillip Hutchison, Gregory (Regina) Hutchison; cousins, Frances Wright, Sue (Charles) Chaney, Bonnie (Gorey) Spradlin; and several nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by three sisters, Beulah Linn, Martha Marshall, Billie Watson; and a brother, Carl Clifford. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at Evergreen Memory Gardens by Rev. Steven Scherer. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Central Baptist Church.
