Marjorie Smith Dykes, 90, widow of Raymond James Dykes, died Monday, January 12, 2015 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. She was born June 6, 1924 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Harry and Clara Miller Smith, attended Center Hill School, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Marjorie is survived by a son, Harry Clark Dykes, Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren, Angela Dykes Mitchell, Paris, Billy Ray Harp, Gilroy, CA; and seven great grandchildren, Jerred Mitchell, Alicia Mitchell Gram, Austin Sterling Mitchell, Jake Mitchell, Joshua Harp, Kylie Harp, and Megan Harp. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, at Evergreen Memory Gardens by Rev. Gary Graves. There will be no visitation.
