Martha Jane Clark Martin, 96, Church Street, North Middletown, widow of Asa Floyd Martin, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at her home. She was born April 29, 1914 in Winchester, daughter of the late Gordon and Dora Walling Clark, attended North Middletown School, and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Floyd (Barbara) Martin, North Middletown; a daughter, Sue Getty, Bourbon County; four grandchildren, Larry Martin, Darlene (Bill) Woosley, Carolyn (Gary) Childress, Billy D. Bridges, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, Chris Martin, Brandi Curran, Nicole Childress, Gary Lee Childress, Elizabeth Ann Childress, Katherine Sue Childress, Branson Bridges, Wyatt Bridges; two great, great grandchildren, Miranda Miles, Landon Scott Martin; five step grandchildren, Jeremy Childress, Brandon Childress, Leah Childress, Thomas Hall, Katie Hall; and two step great, great grandchildren, Mattie and Morgan Childress. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. J.T. Rafferty with burial in the North Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Gary Jackson, Bobby True, Rick Claypool, Fred Cornett, Sam Lanter, and David Forman. Honorary bearers will be Renee Rawlins, Judy Kendall, Carol Earlywine, and Jamie Lebus. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
