Mary Elizabeth Mann Cunningham, 88, South Main Street, widow of J.C. Cunningham, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at the U.K. Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1922 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Ora Bruce and Ann Mary Alexander Mann, a graduate of Paris High School, and was a member and deacon of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She was a former employee of A&P, a past member of Shamrock Homemakers, a charter member of the Widow to Widow group, and was a volunteer for Operation Food Basket and Bargain Box. She is survived by a nephew, Edwin G. (Patricia A.) Mann, Louisville; a niece, Joyce Steiger, Livingston, TX; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Bell with burial in the Millersburg Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Richard Eads, Charles Harney, Chris Mann, Larry Klinefelter, Bob Wilson, and Joe Roberts. Members of the Widow to Widow group will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to the Christian Women's Fellowship of First Christian Church.
