Mary Teresa Harney, 86, widow of Eckels J. Harney and mother of a loving son, Thomas E. Harney, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. She is also survived by a very special sister, Patsy Thomas and her husband, William Eugene Thomas; sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, too numerous to mention. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 17, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. The family expresses special appreciation to Dr. James Ferrell and staff, WEDCO, Wilson Drug, Ken's New Market, Bluegrass Billiards, Bourbon Community Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington Clinic, and Dr. James Gay. At her request donations may be made to Church of the Annunciation, 1007 Main Street, Paris, KY 40361, Hospice Care Center, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504, or The Hope Center, 360 W. Loudon Avenue, Lexington, KY 40508.
