Mary Evelyn Winings, 87, Old Peacock Road, retired dietician for the Bourbon County school system, widow of Raymond Lewis Winings, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at her son's home in Lexington. She was born January 15, 1920 in Pierson, IL, was formerly of Lovington, IL and moved to Paris in 1961. Mrs. Winings was a member of the First Church of God, Senior Friends, Widow to Widow Group, and served as a volunteer at the Bourbon County Hospital for 12 years. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Robert) Seitz, Mt. Vernon, IN; two sons, Floyd (Elsie) Winings, Arthur, IL, Harold (Jill) Winings, Lexington; a brother, Richard Goodrich, Arthur, IL; son-in-law, Clyde Oathout, Shreveport, LA; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. A daughter, Judy Oathout, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, at the Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, IL, by Rev. Sylvester Sanders with interment in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the Shrader Funeral Home.
