Marylyn Hurst McKinney, 72, Hillcrest Drive, retired Stamler Corporation Human Resources Director, widow of John W. McKinney, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was born March 4, 1937 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late Howard Feland and Lillian Louise Myers Hurst and was a graduate of Paris High School. Marylyn was a member of First Baptist Church, Lynnwood Homemakers, and Paris Women's Club. She is survived by a daughter, Cis (Randy) Schelling, Kenosha, WI; a son, Wyatt (Stacie) McKinney; six grandchildren, Kirstin McKinney, Jordan McKinney, Sydney McKinney, Jamee Godby, J.T. Schelling, Marideth Schelling; a sister-in-law, Ramona Hurst; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Keith Hurst. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, at the First Baptist Church by Rev. Don Reed with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Philip Hurst, Paul Hurst, Tracy Sharp, Rick Broderick, John Buesing, Robby Anderson, and Steve Rankin. Honorary bearers will be her great nephews, Doug Sharp, Barbara Sharp, Maxine Pulliam, Marjorie Wornall, Juanita Wells, Mildred Ruggles, Barbara Leer, Margaret Honaker, Patsy Herzog, and Neil Johnson. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158.
