Mason Hart Forsythe, 51, retired EMT/Firefighter with the Paris Fire Department, former Bourbon County Coroner, a funeral director for the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, husband of Susan Anderson Forsythe, died Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center. He was born September 22, 1958 in Paris, son of Bruce Hart and Marie Dudley Keller Forsythe, Paris, and was a 1976 graduate of Paris High School. In addition to his wife and parents, Hart is also survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Hart (Donnie) Spencer, Lauren Clay Forsythe; a brother, Clay T. (Angie) Forsyth; a sister, Margaret Anne Dempsey; a niece Sarah Kathryn Hager; and a nephew, Garrard Clay Forsyth. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, at the Bedford Acres Christian Church by Dr. Larry Bishop and Rev. Donavan Cain with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be the Paris Fire Department Honor Guard. Honorary bearers will be James Milam, Charles Humphries, James Fomas, George Bills, Clyde Parsons, Roy Crump, Keith Lenox, Bonnie Pigg, Jeff Holzhouse, Donnie Spencer, Andrew Biddle, Terry Pollitt, Larry Abney, Steven Perry Wornall, Robert Bruce Wornall, and Hume Payne Wornall. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice Care Center or St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
