Michael Allen Hunter, 71, Vimont Street, Millersburg, an employee of Minovia Corporation in Georgetown, husband of Carolene Clark Hunter, died Friday, November 19, 2010. He was born May 2, 1939 in Carlisle, son of the late Marion Bradley and Dorothy Wells Hunter. He was a graduate of Bourbon County High School and was a member of the Millersburg First United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #257, Millersburg Rotary Club, and the National Guard. He is also survived by three daughters, Vicki Queener, Paris, Elaine (Mike) Hillock, Paris, Kathy (Nick) Leone, West Palm Beach, FL; a son, Marion Kash Hunter, Paris; five grandchildren, Michael Gibson, Katie Gibson, Nicholas Leone, Angela Leone, Jackie Leone; and a great granddaughter, Kadyn Gibson. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Kevin Smith with burial in the Millersburg Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Randy Fischer, Ralph Howard, David Moran, Jack Ruth, Vince Gibbons, and Anthony Henry. Members of American Legion Post #257 will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association.
