Mildred Katherine Lee, 84, widow of John Lee, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Bourbon Heights. She was born July 17, 1925 in Owen County, daughter of the late Price and Willie Hymer Switzer, educated in the Scott County schools, and was a member of Clintonville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She is survived by four daughters, Thelma (Roy) Neal, Harrodsburg, Betty (Len) Conner, Richmond, Joyce (Arnold) Willoughby, Winchester, Mary (Donald) Butte, Lexington; two sons, John Lee, Lexington, James (Penny) Lee, Versailles; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Allen Neal. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Charles H. Kemp with burial in the Clintonville Cemetery. Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as casket bearers. Honorary bearers will be her granddaughters and great granddaughters. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to the Bourbon Heights Activity Fund, Hospice of the Bluegrass, or Clintonville Christian Church Pavilion Fund.
