Mildred Nichols Lovell, 91, a retired Hansley Mill seamstress, widow of Harvey Lovell, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home. She was born May 21, 1923 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late Ed and Ella Livingood Nichols and was a member of the Widow to Widow group and Central Baptist Church. Mildred is survived by a daughter, Marcia Wagoner, Paris; a son, Dennis (Teresa) Vance, Paris; two grandchildren, Bobby Gene (Amy) Wagoner, Newburgh, IN, Karla (Matt) Evans, Carlisle; two great grandchildren, Ella Grace Evans, Grant Wagoner; two sisters, Elizabeth (Robert) Brooks, Lancaster, Jo Ann Gray, Columbus, OH; and three brothers, Donald Nichols, Paris, Stanley (Ruth) Nichols, Paris, and Fred (Sue) Nichols, Bartlett, TN. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Fletcher, Geneva Schandings; a brother, Frank Nichols; and son-in-law, Bobby Wagoner. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Dan Russell with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bobby Gene Wagoner, Donald Nichols, James Lovell, James Lemaster, Garland George, and Matt Evans. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
