Oakley Parker Clark, 93, Betty Drive, a retired nurse's aid, widow of Norman Clark, died Monday, July 13, 2009 at her home. She was born October 8, 1915 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Sherman and Josephine Woosley Parker and was a member of Trinity Church of God. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Norma Jean and Silas Mattox, Sarasota, FL, Brenda and Conner Fletcher, Paris; two sons and daughters-in-law, Woodrow and Patricia Clark, Paris, and James S. and Dixie Clark, Mt. Olivet; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 15 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Fri, July 17, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. William Singleton with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Norman Ray Clark, Roy Lee Clark, James Sherman Clark, II, David Fletcher, Richie Fletcher, Harry Clark, Bobby Clark, Brady Kendall, and Neil Kendall. Honorary bearers will be Jeanie Kendall, Pam Lotz, Kim Beach, Shari Workman, Kathy Barnes, and Linda Moore. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thu. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
