Pamela J. Watkins, 56, co-owner of A New Leaf Florist and Chicken Ranch Restaurant, wife of Joe Watkins, Jr., died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born October 9, 1953 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Fred W. and Dorothy Mae Dalzelle Hadley and was a graduate of Paris High School. Pam is also survived by a special daughter, Jodie Lynn Oliver, Paris; a brother, Fred W. Hadley, Jr., Paris; a sister, Sandra (Rey) Mirabel, Las Cruces, NM; nephews, Danny Ray Baber, Kelly Baber, Reymundo Mirabel, Jr.; Debbie (Frank) Moreno; and a brother-in-law, Karl (Mary Hyatt) Watkins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Baber. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Sylvester Sanders with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Danny Baber, Kelly Baber, James Sullivan, Rick Ward, Jim Allen, John McCarty, John Workman, and Brent Gaunce. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Contributions would be appreciated by the Watkins family to help pay funeral costs .
