Patricia Jones Rainey, 56, Sunny Hill Drive, North Middletown, widow of Clyde Thomas Rainey, Jr., died Monday, June 28, 2010 at her home. She was born July 7, 1953 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Henry Conway and Rebecca Jean Chandler Jones, a graduate of Bourbon County High School, and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Lynn Rainey (Michael Joshua) Brown, Ohio; a son, Bryan Van Thomas Rainey; three grandchildren, Miranda Page Brown, Johnathon Joseph Brown, Shane Michael Brown; a brother, Paul H. (Eura Lee) Jones, Mt. Sterling; and six sisters, Mamie Clayton Faulkner, Falmouth, Billie Ann Mattox, Paris, Rose Marie (Joe) Elvove, Paris, Nora Margaret (Charles) Johnson, Versailles, Katherine D. (Claude) Mitchell, Florida; and Connie (Cecil) Foley, North Middletown. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Williams, Betty Jean Masterson, and Mary Bush Graves. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 3, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. J.T. Rafferty with burial in the North Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Mark Long, Brad Biddle, Chris Haynes, Johnathon Brown, Wayne Campbell, Lee Ray Morrow, David Orinder, and Shane Brown. Honorary bearers will be Joe Elvove, Cecil Foley, Miranda Brown, S.C. Graves, J.W. Masterson, Charles Johnson, and Eura Lee Jones. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or American Cancer Society.
