Robert Bellwood Crump, 71, Hillcrest Drive, husband of Edith Reynolds Crump, died Thursday, August 24, 2007 at his residence. He was a retired finance employee with the state of Kentucky and Bourbon County PVA employee. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a graduate of Paris High School and the University of Kentucky, and was a member of the First Church of God. He was also a member of the Oleika Shrine Temple where he was a member of the Scottish Rite Masonery, President of the Oleika Greeters, Adj. for the Oleika Guard, and was a member of Paris Lodge #2, F&AM. He was born September 2, 1935 in Paris, KY, son of the late Howard and Alice Slead Crump. Other survivors are a daughter, Peggy (David) Mefford, Bourbon County; two sons, Gary (Susan) Linville, Bourbon County, John Dean (Sally) Linville, Paris; eight grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, David (Cindy) Crump, Lexington; a niece and a nephew. Private funeral services were Saturday morning, August 25, 2007 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by David Mefford with interment in the Paris Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Shriners Children Hospital.
