Robert Stanton Fletcher, 100, formerly of Little Rock, a retired Bourbon County Road Department employee and farmer, U.S. Army veteran of World War II, widower of Lucille Nichols Fletcher, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. He was born October 4, 1914 in Harrison County, son of the late Mansfield Wills and Rosella Honaker Fletcher, attended Little Rock School, a member of First Christian Church, Paris, and attended Little Rock Christian Church. Bob was preceded in death by his wife; five sisters, Bertie Mason, Ruth Gaunce, Lucille Franks, Lillian Clifford, Helen Stevens; five brothers, Bossie, Elzie, Ray, Nick, and Billy Fletcher; and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 24, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Rex Graham with burial in North Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Billy McCarty, Rex Rawlings, Buddy Gaunce, Billy Bromagen, Karl McGlone, and Harold Soper. Honorary bearers will be Billy Florence, Dr. James Ferrell, Jim Lovell, Becky Sebastian, Paul Lyons, Ron Isaac, and Buddy Dawson. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
