Rosa Cassity Jones Doyle, 94, East Main Street, died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at her residence. She was born June 1, 1912 in Bath County, daughter of the late Coburn and Bessie Carrick Cassity, a graduate of Bath County schools, and was a member of Ruddles Mill Christian Church. She is survived by two grandsons, Jeffrey (Tina) Jones, Versailles, Mark (Patty) Jones, Elizabethtown; five great grandchildren, Lindsey Jones, Versailles, Christopher Jones, Stephanie Jones, Jesse Jones, Lauren Jones, all of Elizabethtown; a nephew, Donnie (Wanda) Crump, Paris; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Mason Jones and Neville Doyle; a son, Herbert A. Jones, Sr.; a grandson, Herbert A. Jones, Jr.; and a sister, Iva Crump. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. John McGuire with interment in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Christopher Jones, Glenn Ferrell, Clay Crump, Jonathan Chanslor, Lee Chanslor, and Harmon Carter. Honorary bearers will be Ron Chanslor, Walter Link, Carl Toomey, Carl Hafley, Ed Hollar, Don Davis, and James McCarty. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ruddles Mill Christian Church.
