Ruby Lee Robinette Marcum, 83, Mt. View Drive, widow of Fred Marcum, died Wednesday, January 02, 2008 at Bourbon Community Hospital. She was born January 1, 1925 in Moody, TX, daughter of the late John C. and Hallie May Robinette, a graduate of Ireland, Texas High School, and was a member of First Church of God and the Marie Chapter #167, Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Marcum is survived by a son, Ed (Paula) Marcum; a daughter, Jude Marcum; three grandchildren, Keri Mitchell Marcum (Timm) Peters, Erin Elizabeth (Chris) Livingood, Leigh Barton Marcum; six great grandchildren, Fred Taylor Marcum, Jackson Edward Livingood, Sean S. Davis, Tyler Clay Jenkins, Jonathon Alexander Livingood, Kayla Michelle Livingood; and two sisters, Albertine VanDine and Johnnie Bunyard. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Bell with interment in the White Family Cemetery, Manchester, KY. Casket bearers will be Bryan Pulliam, Mac McDonald, Timm Peters, Ronnie Watts, Chris Livingood, Mike Marcum, Dr. Forrest Fightmaster, and Bill Hayes. Honorary bearers will be Don and Mary Elizabeth Hamm, Mike Beckett, Judy Richardson, Ellen McClain, Linda Conyers, Mike Bidarian, Tony Horn, and Joan Ewalt. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
