Sarah Katherine Kissick, 74, widow of Herbert Harlan Kissick Sr., died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Bourbon Heights. She was born March 22, 1936 in Winchester, daughter of the late George Washington and Ruby Columbia Rainey and attended North Middletown School. She is survived by a son, Billy Ray (Gwenn) Kissick, Paris; a daughter, Brenda Kissick Davis, Paris; eight grandchildren, Lori (Glen) Scott, Paris, Eric Kissick, Bourbon County, Victor Kissick, Cynthiana, George Davis Jr., North Middletown, Kelli George North Middletown, Joshua Kissick, Paris, Ashley Kissick, Paris, Whitney Duncan, Paris; a sister, Gladys Sorrell, Danville; daughter-in-law, Sherry Kissick, Paris; seven great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Herbert Harlan Kissick Jr. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Eric Kissick, Joshua Kissick, George Davis Jr., Doug Rainey, Tommy Lawrence, Gary Garrison, George Kissick, and Harold Lee Rule. Honorary bearers will be William E. Kissick, George Davis Sr., Jeremy Hutchison, Dwayne Duncan, Tracy Sharon, Victor Kissick, John David Sharon, and Travis George. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
