Shanda Lynn Kelley, 40, Vine Street, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the Hospice Care Center after a three year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born February 20, 1967 in Paris, a graduate of Bourbon County High School, and was a member of First Baptist Church. Shanda was a talented singer and musician, and was a devoted mother who spent much of her time enjoying life with her family and friends. She is survived by two wonderful, loving daughters, Megan and Alaina Kelley; her father, J.B. (Hannah) Chamberlain; a sister, Stephanie Chamberlain; a brother, Tim Chamberlain; two very best friends, Janet Jeanes and Darlene Shepard; three aunts, Barbara (Hershel) Nichols, Linda (Michael) Keever, Patsy (John) Parr; three uncles, Billy A. (Ezella) Wagoner, Lynn (Jackie) Wagoner, Clayton (Sara) Chamberlain; and several cousins. Her mother, Nancy Wagoner Straub, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Don Reed with interment in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tony Archdale, Jason Wagoner, Josh Roe, John Parr, Jr., Chris Kelley, Jordan Evans, Clayton Chamberlain, Jr., and Jeremy Sebastian. Honorary bearers will be Bill Wagoner, II, Mark Nichols, Mike Nichols, Keith Nichols, Steve Wagoner, Robin Wagoner, Tim McNabb, and Jett Class. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky (OAK), Suite 309, 3991 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40207.
