Stella Taylor James, 92, widow of John James, died Saturday, July 14, 2007. She was born February 11, 1915 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Jess B. and Leona Margaret Rule Taylor, a graduate of Paris High School, and was a Kentucky Colonel. Stella is survived by two daughters, Barbara Wells, Paris, Elinor (John) Corcella, Ormond by the Sea, FL; six grandchildren, David Wells, Darryl Wells, Donald Wells, Suzannah Wells, all of Paris, Jenny Luttrell, Frankfort, Tracy Urian, Huntington, WV; nine great grandchildren, Adam Wells, Alex Wells, Lindsay Wells, Jacob Wells, Taylor Wells, Christopher Wells, Wendy Scharf, Molly Urian, Wesley Urian; and two great, great grandchildren, Kayla and Alexa Scharf. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, graveside at the Paris Cemetery. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as casket bearers. Honorary bearers will be John and Mary Coleman, Donna Howard, Angela Luttrell, Kim Crump, Billie Copher, Debbie Lowe, Diana Sargent, Anna Vance, and Bob Stitch. There will be no visitation.
