Stephanie McKinney, 65, of Lexington and formerly of Paris, a retired VA Hospital cytologist, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011. She was born January 2, 1946 in Paris, daughter of the late Foster and Ruth Shackelford McKinney and was a graduate of Paris High School and Eastern Kentucky University. She is survived by a brother, James Foster (Fran) McKinney; two nieces, Sydney (Bryan) Baseheart, Lindsay (Daniel) Nunnelley; and two great nieces, Maddie and Lucy Baseheart, all of Lexington. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Colette Lane with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be James McKinney, Richard Eads, Bill Bradford, Burl Lovell, Steve Wornall, and Bryan Baseheart. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paris Animal Welfare Society.
