Eudell Means, 76, Kentucky Avenue, wife of James Junior Means, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at her home. She was born October 31, 1933 in Powell County, daughter of the late Eli and Elizabeth Osborne Johnson and was a member of Trinity Church of God. She is also survived by a daughter, Brenda Kay (Johnny) Ishmael, Paris; a son, James Edward (Connie) Means, Paris; five grandchildren, Cory (Haley) Means, Paris, Clint Means, Paris, Chris (Eileen) Ishmael, Georgetown, Amanda Ishmael Hughes, Paris, Rebekah Shepard Means, Lancaster; four great grandchildren, Hunter Means, Jacie Means, Kaelyn Means, Jessica Harris; three sisters, Dovie Borders, Norma (Charlie) Collins, Joyce Johnson, all of Winchester; three brothers, Jake (Ann) Johnson, Winchester, Eli Johnson, Jr., Winchester, John R. (Debbie) Johnson, Mt. Sterling; and special friends, Dorothy Clay and Sarah Alice Tubbs. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 3, at the Trinity Church of God by Rev. William Singleton and Rev. Ronnie Mounce with burial in Clintonville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jake Johnson, Eli Johnson, Jr., John R. Johnson, Charles Collins, Donald Wayne Means, and Sam Clay, III. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
