Thomas "Buddy" Moore, 71, passed away March 12, 2007. He was born to the late Thomas T. and Stella Moore on June 3, 1935 in Harrison County. He was the owner/operator of Thomas B. Moore Trucking, Inc. and a recipient of the Million Mile Trucking Award. He was a member of Calvary Christian Church. Buddy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beulah Vaughn Moore, one son Destry (Martha) Moore of Paris, one grandson Joseph Moore of Murray, KY, one nephew Eddie (Nancy) Million of Berry, KY, the Vaughn family, and a host of friends. One son, John Thomas Moore, preceded him in death in 1987. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Orville Taylor and Rev. Bradley Vaughn with interment in the Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry, KY. Casket bearers will be Travis Proffitt, Jamie McCall, Justin Wiggs, Darell Cronch, Tracy Cameron, and J. B. Chamberlain. Honorary bearers will be Ron Thomas, Billy Oldson, Kenney Stevens, Carl Curtsinger, Billy Jones, and Wilfred Rose. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to the Paris F.O.P. or Calvary Christian Church.
