Virgie Hollar, 81, wife of Edward Hollar, died Monday, September 15, 2014 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. She was born January 20, 1933 in Mason County, daughter of the late L. Richart and Delene Emmons Henry and was a member of Ruddles Mill Christian Church. In addition to her husband, Virgie is survived by two daughters, Karen (Steve) Johnson, Paris, Teresa (Bill) Rogers, Hohenwald, TN; three grandsons, Jason Johnson, Shannon Green, Brad Green; three granddaughters, Rebecca (Matt) Perraut, Ashley Hollar, Shawna Merlin; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Hollar; and a sister, Dorothy Taylor. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. John McGuire with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Steve Johnson, Matt Perraut, Shannon Green, Brad Green, Jason Johnson, and Johnny Wyatt. Honorary bearers will be Jimmy Mason and Betty Wyatt. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
