Virginia Craycraft Davis, 82, Plum Lick Road, North Middletown, retired cashier for the North Middletown Branch of Kentucky Bank, widow of Forrest Davis, died Sunday, December 2, 2007. She was born August 17, 1925 in Clark County, daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Johnson Craycraft, a graduate of Clark County High School, and was a member of North Middletown Christian Church and the Bourbon County Homemakers. Mrs. Davis is survived by two sons, Forrest Wayne (Emma) Davis, Sr., Montgomery County, Michael Dean (Virgaline) Davis, Lexington; five grandchildren, Forrest Wayne (Dana) Davis, Jr., Jamie (Simona) Davis, Gina (Jeff) Debruler, Dede (Buddy) Leach, Toni Davis, all of Mt. Sterling; four great grandchildren, Luke Davis, Summer Taylor, J.D. Taylor, Colton Debruler; and two brothers, Clarence (Mary) Craycraft, Jr., Georgetown, and Doug (Joyce) Craycraft, Lexington. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Dr. William A. Curwood with interment in the North Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bill Henson, James McFarland, Ronnie Davis, Billy Caudill, Carl Horseman, and Bill Bradford. Honorary bearers will be Frank Lawrence, Bush Hudson, Clyde Oldson, Bill Lyle, Pete Bridges, and Floyd Davis. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
