Walter Edward Hess Jr., 58, owner/DJ of Magna Sound Productions, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. He was born April 26, 1957 in Paris, son of the late Alice Mae Tharp Hess and the late Walter Edward Hess Sr. and was a 1976 graduate of Paris High School. Walter is survived by two uncles, Jess (Norma) Thorp, William (Kathy) Thorpe; granddaughter, Lilly Abner; cousin and caregiver, Barbara Justice; cousins, Todd (Jennifer) Justice, Tracy (Karen) Thorpe, Esther (Terry) McDaniel; aunt, Mary Spivey (late Charles) Thorpe; and special friend, Tina Estes Richardson. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. William E. Allen III, Pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Winchester. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
