Wendell Lee Faulkner, 74, retired employee of the VA Hospital-Leestown Road, U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War, died Friday, July 24, 2015 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born December 30, 1940 in North Middletown, son of the late Elmer Ray and Maggie Taylor Faulkner and was a graduate of North Middletown High School. Wendell is survived by his wife, Grace Faulkner, North Middletown; two sons, Steve Richardson, John Bellue; a daughter, Rachel (Larry) Rambacher; five grandchildren, Victoria (Kaleb) Hyatt, Hannah Hildreth, Amber Bellue, Evelyn Rambacher, John Alexander Bellue; two sisters, Pauline Biddle, Sandra (Bill) Cody; and a brother, Gerald Faulkner. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Ray Faulkner. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at North Middletown Cemetery.
