William A. Hill, 64, Ruddles Mill, retired Wickes Lumber salesman, husband of Shirley Browning Hill, died Monday, October 1, 2007. He was born April 5, 1943 in Bourbon County, son of the late Milton S. and Frances Cameron Hill, a graduate of Bourbon County schools, and was a member of Ruddles Mill Christian Church. Mr. Hill is also survived by a daughter, Tammy (Chris) Fight, Bourbon County; two sons, Timmy D. Hill, Harrison County, William Anthony (Mary) Hill, Lexington; a brother, Milton W. (Edna) Hill, Bedford, KY; two sisters, Helen Hafley, Hazel H. Kenney, both of Paris; and four grandchildren, Joshua Hill, Cassandra Cobbs, Kurt D. Fight, and Bryce C. Fight. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Sutherland, Cora Hughes; and a brother, Samuel Hill. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. John McGuire with interment in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Don Davis, Billy Wyatt, Johnny Wyatt, Keith Buchanan, Anthony Hill, Billy Hafley, Jr., Russell Kenney, and Mike Hughes. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
