William Kelly Jones, 65, retired VA Medical Center employee, US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, died unexpectedly January 16, 2010 at VA Medical Center. He was born January 11, 1945 in Paris, son of the late Frank Walker and Lena Cassity Jones. Kelly is survived by a sister, Barbara (Clint) Padgett, Lexington; a brother, Jerry Wayne Jones, Lexington; nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, Whitney Jones, John Jones, Eddie Jones, Lena (Wayne) Turner, Rachel (Vince) Matteini, Joy (Jay) Hendricks, Charlotte (Steve) Hellard, Jason Wells, Johnny (Tammy) Wells, Angie (Claude) Cobb; life long friend, Larry Jefferson; and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Donald Jones; a sister, Elizabeth Bullard; and a nephew, Donald Wayne "Pete" Jones. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the Paris Cemetery.
