Yancey Oscar Florence Jr, 81, a retired Claiborne Farm employee, died Monday, September 15, 2014 at Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Winchester. He was born December 25, 1932 in Ruddles Mill, son of the late Mary Frances Schanding and Yancey Oscar Florence Sr. Yancey is survived by two sisters, Madge (Alton) Crafton, Louisville, Ollie Dailey, Paris; two brothers, John Mosley Florence, Mount Sterling, Willard Lee Florence, Lexington; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Jim Hutchison with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John Mosley Florence, John Wayne Florence, William Wayne Florence, Gary Andrew Wagoner, Bobby Shiflet, and Warren Shiflet. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
