Zelma Lee True, 98, Yorktown Drive, widow of Roscoe True, died Tuesday, February 09, 2010 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born April 11, 1911 in Scott County, daughter of the late Emora and Jenny Florida Hudson Robey and was a graduate of Great Crossing High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Emily Smith Sunday School Class, and was a former member Bourbon Parkway Homemakers. Mrs. True is survived by a son, Bobby Thomas (Beulah) True, Paris; three daughters, Helen Lee (Frank) Kern, Cincinnati, OH, Clara Bowman, Paris, Judy (Joe) Judy, Cynthiana; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; one step great grandchild; and a sister, Jewel Traylor, Georgetown. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 12, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Gary Ellcessor and Rev. Don Reed with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Steven Bowman, Guy Bowman, Lee Judy, Kyle Judy, Michael True, Ray Moble, and Billy Bowman. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideons.
