Frank McCracken Jr.
Frank Campbell McCracken Jr., 72, a retired CPA with Ernst & Young and former vice president at Appalachian Regional Healthcare, husband of Sue Horsley McCracken, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born June 11, 1945 in Paris, Kentucky, son of the late Frank C. and Clara Haley McCracken. Frank was a 1963 graduate of Paris High School and a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in accounting, a Life Loyal Sigma Chi, an elder at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and First Families of Kentucky. He was also on the Paris Cemetery Board, a former board president (chair) of the Paris-Bourbon County Public Library, and a former chair of the board at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Nancy Clara McCracken; son, Asa (Amy) Campbell McCracken; and two granddaughters, Laura Campbell McCracken and Elisabeth Clara McCracken. A daughter, Kate Thompson McCracken, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 11:00 Saturday, February 3, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church by Rev. Jeff Bell with burial in Paris Cemetery. Honorary bearers will be the Elders of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and members of the Twilight Golf Group. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
