Johnye Moyer "Marr" Brauer, 97, a retired secretary for the University of Kentucky, widow of Leo Edward Brauer, died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at The Willows at Hamburg. She was born September 21, 1917 in Deepwater, Missouri, daughter of the late Jacob Samuel and Edna Hurst Moyer and was a member of Paris First United Methodist Church. Johnye is survived by three grandchildren, Caren (Charles) Graham, Lexington, Dwight (Keena) Guy, Paris, Jon (Lisa) Antoniou, Winchester; seven great grandchildren, Bethany and Josh Graham, Heather Wilson, Aubre, Emily, and Jacob Guy, Sydney Antoniou; and four great, great grandchildren, Jordyce and Kaelyn Wilson, Madelynn Hensley, and Khloe Graham. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Nelson; two daughters, Jennifer Elysse "Ginger" Antoniou, Lynn Marchelle "Tucky" Guy; and a great, great grandson, Braylon Graham. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Gary Graves with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jon Antoniou, Charles Graham, Dwight Guy, Josh Graham, Josh Wilson, and Billy Duncan. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church.
